Just finished going through the tank. I can also include a little Ludwigia glandulosa and I also think the stem count on cuba will go up a little bit. ..that is, if the winner wants them LOL "no no, please don't give me any extra plants" :D |
Gomer, You should come down to the annual San Diego Tropical Fish Society Auction in November (Second Sunday of the month). This club has a number of hard core aquatic gardeners and some lovely and often very rare plants come up. There was nearly 400 items last year, and anyone can bid and buy (just like COAST). By the way, I was high bidder for the cuba, it is gorgeous! Thanks for bringing it on Sunday :) Best, Barb |
Glad you like it! I figured only a couple MIGHT know what the plant is...in the bag, it didn't look all that special :D I'll going to try and bring interesting plants to each coast meeting...perhaps we can get some people interested in the "finer arts" of planted tanks...Java moss has more uses than just breeding LOL Ive been wanting to go to the mega auction, but something always comes up :( This year, I will be going to the AGA conference so it looks like I have to wait another 6 months :( |
