Hi guys,

Just wanted to extend this offer here.

10+ (I send extras) Cherry Shrimp, along with a small amount of Java Moss, price includes delivery (US address only).

$25.00

Please contact me at: [email protected]

Photo shows juvenile just starting to color up. Environment will determine final color, but this particular strain gets REALLY red.

I ship very young shrimp as they are hardier and adapt to your tank conditions more easily. I also include more than ten in every shipment.

A note on size: As stated above, I send very young shrimp just old enough to sex but not near fully grown. The reason for this is that young shrimp are hardier and adapt to your tank more easily and with no loss. They will quickly grow to full size and establish a breeding colony. The photo included below is WAY larger than life size. These shrimp, when fully grown, are about 1 inch or so in length. They do look larger in the water and this species is very active, so they put on a pretty tank display unlike some other shrimp species that hide all the time.

One of my customers, Andrew Mobley of the Planted Tank Forum took this nice shot of a juvenile shrimp and gave me permission to use it.

Thanks,

Tom

Default Thanks Nathan

There were some difficulties getting this post going and Nathan (Gnatster) got them figured out even with pressing family matters on his hands.

Thanks for going the extra mile.

Tom

PS: Still have plenty of shrimp!

Hi folks,

I just wanted to let you know that I got shrimp from Tom a while back, via eBay, and I was very, very pleased.

Tom may not have a bunch of iTrader ratings on APC yet, but he's been in other venues for quite some time. He ships well, and the shrimp are healthy!

Buy his shrimp with confidence!

I too have bought from Tom. I purchased through The Planted Tank ad and bought 10+ for the same price advertised here. They have grown for about 2 1/2 weeks now and I have about 20 of them. Highly recommended. As Tom says, he ships small ones so they should go in a dedicated shrimp tank IMHO. They would make expensive treats for a lot of community fish.

I always recommend you grow out your shrimp in a shrimp-only tank. Move adults into tanks holding fish so you can see any compatibility problems without having to find out the hard way with your entire shrimp colony becoming expensive fish food.
