Default 8800k bulb sale at www.hellolights.com

A member brought this to my attention, who prefers to stay anonymous. There is a big sale going on www.hellolights.com for 55/65w PCs in the 8800k range:

Buy one get one free. Seems like a great deal!

They list 6700K, 8800K, and 10,000K. Which would be best for a planted tank?

Did Custom Sea Life sell a square pin 65w fixture? I mistakenly bought some square pin 8800K CSL bulbs from Big Al's on clearance. But all the vendors I've seen only sell 55/65w fixtures for straight pin bulbs...including the two CoraLife Aqualights I have.

A square pin socket is cheap. It is a piece of cake to replace them. Having on of each handy would give many more options for lighting. They bulbs are exactly the same, ballast, etc. They just make different bases to try and keep you buying their product. If you get the hello lights bulbs, order the base with it. No big deal

S,... Any would be just fine for the planted aquarium. I personally like the 10000k and 8800K as they are a littleless yellow, but it really is a personal preference. I just wil I knew how this bulbs looked. I have a 8000k AGA brand and while it is fine, it is a little to pink for me, but I am used to 9325k's so I got used to it an less than a day

Here's an E-bay store that sells both square pin and straight pin in a bunch of different spectrums. At a pretty good price, I might add....
