Default Dwarf pufferfish & Botia sidthimunki loach spotted in N

If anyone in the NY/NJ area is looking for Botia sidthimunki dwarf chain loach or Tetraodon travancoricus dwarf freshwater pufferfish they have them in Jersey.
I happen to be in Jersey on Tuesday, so I checked on Absolutely Fish on 1080 Rt. 46W, Clifton, NJ.
The loach was $20 each and the puffers was $10.
They are not easy to come by in NYC.

Absolutely Fish is about 10 minutes away from my house. Extremely expensive but well stocked salt water store. Probably the best salt water selection in New Jersey and area.

I did interview with James Spink, person who maintains plants in the store.

How much are Botia sidthimunki in other places ?

Hey Jay,

Yep, now I remember where I saw that plant tank before. I remember you post something about it on AB. I thought it was your tank, but found out it belongs to James.
I knew I saw it somewhere before when I saw the Ammania gracilis.
I enjoy the height of the Cryptocoryne Balansae and Ammania gracilis in that tank.
Yep the price was more than what I want to pay, but NYC LFS don't often carry those dwarf fish.

I have to be in Neptune, New Jersey sometime next week, so is there any other LFS worth checking out.
Please also keep an eye out for the dwarf loach.

Thanks
Ken

The Dwarf Puffers are showing up in more & more Petsmarts, so if you have one, might as well check. Hell, mine even started selling Discus.
