I'll make the switch to sand and peat with a botom layer of turface. I do have some micronized iron hanging around and might try that in a couple of pots. My existing set up has the soil filled pots with soil under the water. It seems to be working - only been a few weeks but getting new leaves and growth. Is the problem with organic matter under water one of going anaerobic or is it something else?
