Default Hyalella azteca. Tropical "gammarus"

I'm thinking of ordering them. Why? Because I removed a 6" pot of Vallisneria that was getting sunlight and was pond like dense. After removal... could see dozens of small snails..Ramshorn,pond and the cone type..all hidden from even the Botia's in the tank.
So,I'm thinking if I culture a small tank of Hyalella...I could introduce them in enough numbers that some will survive hidden in a even larger clump of Val still and will be forever in the aquarium.
Only, today is the first I heard of this species in looking up Gammarus,my initial thinking to culture.
