Default Free duckweed...in a pond =)

I live in Huntington Beach, about three blocks away from Tong's tropical fish and pets. Anyways, there's a park really close to my house called Central Park next to the Huntington Beach Central Library and behind OceanView high school. Anyways, this park has two lakes and one of them was pretty large. At first glance I thought the green substance that cover half the lake was an algae bloom. Upon closer look I realize these were duckweed...tons and tons of healthy duckweed. If you're willing to try some of these out, feel free to at your own risk

Thanks for the info! I already have too much of these in my hands. Those pesky little floating buggers...If you miss one small leaf, I can swear that that will cover the whole water surface in a matter of days. However, they look pretty nice in a pond.
