Default Anybody have a microscope?

I'm facing some sort of infection in my main tank. One of my goldfishes fins are completely shredded, the water smells boggy, and some of my plants have been suffering lately. I suspect that it's a bacterial issue.

If anybody local owns a microscope I'd like to see if I could borrow it to help get to the root of the problem.

Data Guru or Jan S. might have some suggestions if you describe the problem to them. They seem to have extensive knowledge of such things.

This is in the SCAPE forum in the hopes of finding someone local - I'm not prepared to take responsibility for breakage caused by shipping someones stuff cross-country.
