Default 2.5 Gal Modded Eclipse

Here is my 2.5 gallon Eclipse. It went from saltwater to nano reef to terrarium to freshwater to now planted and deco'ed.

I took silicon and coconut bedding and some masking tape for the back walls and most of the sides for privacy. I think it turned out better than I thought it would. I may do the pickup tube to match the walls.

I have a pair of Cockatoos in there right now. Im taking the orange von rio tetras out and back to my main tank and putting in some small clear tetras, or maybe the neon tetra, not sure yet.

Not sure however how Im gonna plant it. Thought about all moss with maybe a couple dwarf sags.

Thought Id show what I was working on right now.

Florabase and 1-2 mm medium color gravel. 13 watt 6700 watt bulb. Marineland box power filter HOB (modded, long story).

ya'know, if I would get of my lazy keester and buy some batteries I could show you my 2g cube.

I like that back wall. I am trying to do the moss wall but the cork board keeps crumpling. I think I am going to buy another peice and silicone it to a peice of accrylic and try again.

Plants are starting to grow and the tank has cycled. I may go buy some endlers next week. I have some in the 60g I may use some of them instead.

Looking good. please keep it up.

I dont see why you wouldnt be able to make it so that you could silicon it and use the coconut fiber to help hold the moss somehow. its porous and Im sure that it would hold on.

I did a terrarium like this also and I put terraces and cups in for planting the terestrial and bog type plants. I siliconed the plastic stuff in and then siliconed over it after it dried and then coated it with the fiber.

The sides are coated too as I figured that it would be less stressful for the apistos. They like to be secure feeling I reckon. Ummhmm
