Pros: flow rate of 230 gph, max pump head of 4 feet.
Cons: lots of flow, no toggle control

The Maxijet 900 has a flow rate of 230 gph, max pump head of 4 feet.

I use it to pump water from a 5 gallon bucket, attached to a vinyl hose you get at home depot, for water changes. It pumps water very quickly and quietly with a head height of 5 feet for me. I've run it across a 20 feet hose from sink to tank with 5 feet of head and it did the job. Granted a bit slower than with the bucket, but it still did the job.

I wish it had a flow control, so I could use it in my 29 gallon aquarium, but it doesn't. This thing has a lot of flow, and can be directed with the flow directional tool. But I still get more flow, and aggitation than I need. Great pump! People love maxijet over any other brand. I have to agree. It's definately good.
