Pros: Nice looking low profile fixture, bright, good construction.
Cons: No mounting legs

Overall I really like the fixture, it is bright, and looks nice on my 2.5 gallon. Mounting legs would have made this light perfect.

Pros: size vs. watts, great for small tanks, replacement bulbs easy to find.
Cons: no mounting legs

An excellent solution for the small planted tank. I have several of these. They fit nicely on 2.5, 3, and 5g tanks. They will sit right on the cover glass. Extremely well made, switch is ideally located. Get\'s a bit hot when you have to remove it as the housing is a nice black anodized aluminum.

Provides plenty of light to grown all but the most light demanding plants. The reflector gives a nice dispersal of the light.

Pros: good size
Cons: Array

Works great, no problems. Perfect light for a nano. Costs about the same as a lamp and a new bulb, so go for this.

Pros: compact design, light output, economical
Cons: can get quite hot, needs mounting legs

I have two of these above my 5.5g planted tank. Due to their small size one would also fit nicely on a 2.5g. The price of these units is great, and their compact design is ideal for nano tanks. They do generate a great deal of heat and a glass canopy is highly recommended.
