Hey guys, I pulled an anubia nana out of my tank yesterday as it was getting in the way of my other plants and was going nowhere. I put it in a 1 gallon tank just for the time being, but I was thinking of setting it up that way and maybe bringing in to work. Can anyone suggest a cheap type of light I could clip to the side or something like that? Would a standard daylight CCFL bulb do the job?

Joshvito's suggestion would look nicenon a small tank. If it is a bowl I would just find a nice desk lamp that you can put a daylight 11-15 Watt spiral cfl in. I have a 11W spiral over my 5.5 and it does well. It gets a little light from the fluorescent lights in the lab and maybe some diffuse light through the blinds.

Thanks, yeah, I think I will find something like a desk lamp, as long as it has a reflective shade. That perch light looks good too but I imagine it costs a bit more than I wanted to spend.
