Before you reply, I know the aquascaping in this tank is very poor. I'm not much of a designer.
If you're wondering why I have such a big gap in the middle behind the java fern, I just put a baby amazon sword off that big plant there. It won't be long before it fills that gap completely.
My plan is to remove the spade leaf on the left side that's currently growing out the top of the tank. The straggly hygro compact will also probably be taken out. The swords will shift over into its place and will have a Barclaya longifolia "red" in the middle where all that empty space is right now.
