#1 - When you bring up the PF main page, there is nothing in the drop down menu boxes for all the search categories. Still works fine, but I'm still wondering what's going on there. Same on my computer and the remote one I'm on now.

#2 - My name is listed on the main page and a link is given to [email protected] or something like that. That was set up by the previous site owners and I've never used it. Can it be changed to recommend that someone send me a PM instead?

#3 - Maximum photo size to upload is 200k. Is it possible to increase that? Even a little would be great. People upload pictures to the site all the time, and I'll bet those are often bigger than the ones in one of the site's main resources!

I tried uploading a picture I knew would probably be too big, and it said the max is 200k, which is what it has been. It also has the [email protected] on the main page. Is there something I need to do to make the changes take effect? What is the new upload max supposed to be?

#1 - When you go the the main PF page, there are all the drop down menus for different categories. Previously, the top choice in each category (alphabetically or otherwise) was already viewable in the box. Now, they aren't, which looks a bit odd is all.

PLEASE don't turn off the pager. I like it, and it's the only thing that stops my PM box from filling overnight. Why do you mention that here?

Edit: Or are you referring to the boxes themselves being blank before you click on them?

Exactly. Not a big deal, but kind of strange. It wasn't that way before.

where are you trying to upload the picture? if its the gallery, it should be 2mb, as thats what its set to for uploads.

To the Plant Finder. I have a special link/interface I use to add pictures, text, etc. Only p3r3 and I have it I believe. I will PM it to you. This is not related to the picture gallery open to all members.

also, where about are you seeing your email? im not sure where you see it, so ive no idea how to fix it. i thought you meant the pm system that when you click on the persons name, you send them a message. ill go turn that back on.

The Plant Finder main page. I can't change the text under the header. There's a link there for an e-mail I don't use. People who suggest things are sending messages to a black hole.

The size limit increase apparently didn't take. I tried to upload something that was 493k and got an error message saying that the size limit is 200k.

No luck still. The same 493k photo failed to upload on both a new entry and as a new photo for an unrelated, existing one. Same 200k max size error.
