A hello from me and my tank

Hello, my name is Flo. I started fish keeping as a child and currently own a single 20 gallon /80 l comunity tank wiht a water lettuce proplem. I would love to have more but i am currently not able too. I dont have any recent pictures of my tank so here is one i took february his year. Its looks a lot worse now because i had to take out almost all floaters to save my dying plants.

yeah, unfortunately with floating plants they have to be thinned out periodically so as not to overshadow the plants below. What plants do you have in the substrate?

I used to have problems with water lettuce if not pruned regularly until I added a new filter which resulted in more circulation. The water lettuce transformed itself into smaller plants over the course of several months which are more manageable.

I have two Anubias mounted on rock, some vallisneria that sadly decided to grow in the front of my tank and kill almost all of my pennywort. And anohter plant in the back i dont know its name, but it struggling a lot under low light.

I have had pennywort before. It is pretty hardy stuff and will grow both in and out of the aquarium.
