my tank is almost 3 weeks old and i just got my first algea outbreak its fairly small limited to the front viewing area maybe 3 feet long and not dense kinda spotty really i think this is normal but a little reassurance would set my mind at ease

i would love to post a photo but i dont have the equipment to do so also i do not have co2 and as of today i have not started fertilizing i know i should but financially at this time i simply am not capable to

Algea outbreaks are common in newly setup planted tanks. If you can't afford nutrients at this time, then about the only thing you can do is remove it manually & hope for the best.
