Just found this cool looking bottle at the local hardware.

Meant to be used for Ramset nailguns and the like. The blurb says the bottle is good for 150 75mm nails before empty. It's fairly small and holds about 540g of gas... In everyones experience, running this on a 2ft tank, with say 1bps (with no leaks or any other extenuating circumstances), how long would I get from such a bottle? 6 months??

Your 1bps may be my 5bps. Each bubble counter and backward pressure may produce different sized bubbles!!!

As a guide I run my 600g bottles at between 2 and 3bps. This is on a 33USG with ceramic/glass diffuser, plenty of surface turbulence and good light spread.

It lasts about 3 months a bottle

LOLZ, sorry... Yeah, thought about it, but the bottles are like $75. Have seen them on line for $129-odd, for twice the size bottle...

Think it'll be DIY yeast for a while longer...
