I don't know the first thing about metal halide lighting. I have read on the web that certain bulbs won't work with certain ballasts. But what I did find is that if you have an HQI bulb and an HQI ballast both rated for the same watts, it should work.

I just want to make sure that the ADA bulb will work with this fixture: AquaMedic Ocean Light 1x150W

I really want metal halide over my 60-P, and can't afford the Solar 1. This setup looks pretty nice and clean. I just want to make sure that the bulb will work.
