It's been a great conference so far!
Dr. Morin gave a talk about iron uptake in plants, for years other members of my local club have been trying to convince me that iron gluconate is better utilized (and with better results) than chelated iron - I'm more convinced now.
Dr Kane gave a talk on tissue culture - now I have another project to try at home!
It was also a great Iron Aquascaper event this year. Here are the two tanks submitted. The contestants were informed of their nominations just a few hours before the competition. They had 1 hour to come up with their creations. I personally think both are great scapes:
