Hello everyone!
I just noticed that one of my Algae Shrimp is carrying eggs or babies on her underside. Is there anything I can do to up the survivability rates of the babies?
My 65 gal. tank contains 3 Platies, 1 Serpae Tetra, 2 Otos, possibly 1 Kuhli Loach, and 5 other Algae Shrimp.
Any info or links would be great, thanks!!!

everytime i look at mine one or two are berried with eggs which is usual but these shrimp wont hatch in freshwater, it would have to be brackish which you would have to start a seperate tank to hatch.

If these are Amano shrimp, the eggs will actually hatch in freshwater, but the larvae won't survive unless they're soon moved into higher salinities.

Thank you both for the links and info! I don't have the resources for another tank right now, so it looks like the eggs are fish food.
