:shock 8 ppm of Ammonia!!! How did the fish even survive? What was the pH?Zapins said:heh, speaking of consistently too high ammonia levels.... this woman came into our shop the other day and complained to me about the bad smell in her goldfish tank. i tested the water and there was more then 8ppm of ammonia in there! apparently she had about 15 full sized goldfish and a large koi in a 55 gallon tank. unfortunately no plants
