Any idea what’s going on with my dwarf puffer?

I used general cure for internal parasites and finished the second round 2 weeks ago. Today i notice this guy with what almost looks like hes pooping out a plant root (i have pothos in tank). I thought maybe hes constipated as this poop is very strange until i then see him pooping normally despite this thing. Any ideas?
