Curious if anyone has experiences keeping this species of killi and any info you might want to pass along. Thinking about getting a pair, but wanted to get some experiential info from others first.

This is a pretty good killi for someone who has little or no experience with the group. They love to stay near the surface, though if given a lot of cover, they'll more likely to come down off the top portions of the tank. They will eat flakes, but will do better with a variety of live and frozen foods. They are prone to jumping so watch out, they'll also eat small shrimp and fish in your tank so stock accordingly. If you can, get a trio... helps lessen agression on one female if there are 2 of them. If all goes well, you'll be able to scoop out fry once the fish are mature and you provide floaters for cover. Hope this helps!

Thanks, Aaron...I've used that site quite a bit. However, most sites and sources tend to list a maximum size that this species can reach (around 3") rather than the average size. I was curious if most of them end up around 3" or if they tend to stay smaller.

Hopefully when the whether warms up a bit I'll be getting a pair of these guys. Thanks!
