Anyone in or near Las Vegas NV?

Hey guys, I had a question on clubs maybe even just people. I live in Las Vegas NV and am setting up my first tank with much fret. I have never seen a well established planted tank before and was wondering if anyone knew if there is a club or some one near this area? I just need to know what a fully grown plant of any kind actually looks like for size and placement. I'm getting to the point of planting and doing the trial and error method.
