I have one on my 29 gallon, and for the price it's a very good fixture. Although I do have and additional 18 W t-8 running with it. (the one that came with the tank.) I know 18 W isn't much, but I think the nova extreme by itself might not be enough for you. All depends what you want to grow.
Are you looking at the 30" unit? My 29gallon is 30". The Nova Extreme 30" is the same as the 24", so you get some dead spots near the corners. Oh, and it only has a single reflector. But for that price, get two and it would kick you up into some really good light levels.
