I really, really need for people to start submitting more photos for the Plant Finder if this project is to be successful. I know I have spoken with many of you about it, and often the excuse is that "I have plants that are too common" or "unspecial." If you take really good photos, that's all that matters. We still need photos of some of the most basic plants, especially:
Cryptocorynes (especially wendtii, becketii, and the like)
Egeria densa (anachris!)
Echinodorus bleheri, Echinodorus 'Rubin', Echinodorus 'Ozelot', Echinodorus tenellus "micro", etc
Hygrophila polysperma (the plain jane green one)
Hygrophila corymbosa stricta and siamensis (the two regular giant hygros)
Vallisneria sp.
...anything else.
Also, although my email is right below the Plant Finder splash page asking for plant suggestions, etc I have yet to receive ONE email from anyone. If you don't see a plant in the database and would like to see it, please /tell/ me.
