APC Policy on importation of plants

There is apparent cause for concern that this sponsor is not complying with U.S. customs and importation laws. Members have reported that shipments are being confiscated for lacking proper documentation. If this is true, we cannot endorse this sponsor.

We must warn our members in the strongest possible terms that accepting illegal shipments of plants can result in unwanted federal attention. Individuals suspected of smuggling can find themselves on government "watch" lists or federal prosecution.

We are currently awaiting a reply from the operators of AquaticMagic. If they can demonstrate compliance with U.S. regulations, an prompt apology will be issued by APC. Until then, we advise our members to obtain their plants from other sources.
