Hello Plant Enthusiasts!

Just a reminder to follow up the email I sent last week, this weekend is our April plant meeting. It also happens to fall on the day of my birthday, so there will be cake!

The April meeting will be focused on collecting and housing various
types of live food for our aquariums. The meeting will discuss which
live foods are safe for plants, and fish, where to collect starter
cultures and how to maintain them all through the summer.

We will be collecting live foods at a local pond, so everyone can meet
at my house (email/PM me for address) at 2 pm and we can carpool to the
pond (not far away).

We will also be able to observe the local aquatic plants. At this time
of year some of them are just starting to grow, which makes
identifying them fun!

Please let me know if you are unable to make the meeting by email or phone.

Happy Birthday Michael! Wish I could join the festivities and what not, but I got stuck with this research paper for Easter Break that's really eating up my time. I can't wait until the semester wraps, so I can finally enjoy the outdoors again.

Happy birthday, Michael! I won't be there and all since I'm busy being in Florida, but I hope you have a good meeting. I have some nice wild sailfin mollies for a birthday present...

Haha, thanks! I don't think too many people are going to make it, but oh well! It should still be fun to get out to the local ponds and find interesting things.

I am enjoying your Florida thread!
