The specimen was originally purchased as M. tenerum 'Mini' from a Singaporean hobbyist. I have read references that there is such a thing as M. tenerum 'Mini' so I was interested in how it would look. I have regular M. tenerum (from Tropica) and the width of each thallus is 1/2 to 3/4 centimeter wide. The thalli width of the M. tenerum 'Mini' is about half that size: 1/4 to a little under 1/2 centimeter. Both species were grown in the same tank under high light and CO2 supplementation.
So what I am trying to say is that for all I know, it could be some liverwort that is NOT M. tenerum. I would have to send it to Kwek Leong so he can have his contact properly ID it.
