I have a piece of large rock that sort of sits on two other rock "pillars" on it's ends. I would like to grow java moss on this rock but since it's bottom is exposed I probably have to spread the moss on all sides front, back, top and bottom?

How would you attach it in this case? I tried using a mylon mesh and it's tricky as I have trouble figuring out where to put the "knot" and it's hard to get an equal spread all over.

I use fishingline. Just tie it up from the all sides and there it is.;) I think the problem is that the bottom of the rock doesn't get much light, so the moss easily just dies. But it's worth trying.
