I just purchased some java moss and attached it to a rock using fishing line. I wanted to know how long it would be until the java moss attached itself to the rock and I could take the fishing line out?

give it 2-3 weeks and it should be fine.

If you just let it grow it will completely cover the fishing line and you wont be able to see it anymore.
