Hi all -
I'm looking for some experience with Bac. Australis. Now that summer is over and I only have a month or so left of muskie fishing I'll be paying more attention to my tanks, which I completely neglected this summer.

Anyway I am thinking of trying this plant out in a low light, no CO2 tank.
10g,15 watts, fertilizing and water changes once a month. Peat with Eco Complete on top. That tank was doing well until I ignored it all summer. Lesson learned!

Well, I have some in a 5.5 gallon with no co2 and one of those 10wat screw in CF lights from walmart. Definately low light. The bacopa is growing nicely but slow. Clippings were moved from another tank 3 weeks ago and today they are still growign fine. Slow but fine. THe hottonina palustris is also doing well, interestingly. Also growing very slow and the growth is not as dense as in other tanks but it is still growing fine. Low fish load, no ferts. MAybe I will try ading a little excel, No3 and P to see what happens :? I say give it a try, when youa re looking for some let me know
