Do you have any NH3(ammonia) readign in this water?
Nope and I did a test for all this the other day,
here were my exact readings
Nitrite: 0ppm
Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrate: 10ppm

Everything is as should be parameter wise. I don't think 10ppm is overboard, I usually have my other tanks around a whopping 20ppm (fishless) nitrate max.

Well had an incident tonight.

Hooked up the Inline Atomic diffuser from GLA, go out into the livingroom, 5 minutes later...

BOOOOM

It exploded!

Idk how, but anyway:

Water was everywhere and I lost about 40 gallons from the 65 gallon trying to get the water to stop, finally getting it to stop.
The tubing exploded off due to the build up of pressure, I guess I did something wrong there..?

So after about 1 1/2 hours of cleaning and researching wtf to do with this diffuser, We saw it was turned upside down maybe? so now I have it so the tube runs straight up INTO the diffuser and it seems to be doing fine... But I cant put it on like 20bps or else it will EXPLODE.... I think.

Really am just experimenting at this point. R.i.p plants.

I had not looked in here but reading about the green water on the other post. I now see the cause but not the cure. The cause as I see it is the dirt storm when all the plants were pulled. Any time I do much work that stirs the bottom, I try to do a bunch of cleaning soon after so that the dirt that stirred is not hanging around in the water and on everything to create a start for all kinds of algae.
I think of it as kind of like a layer of dirt in the water but too thin for any plants except algae?

There is no dirt in this tank, traditional dutch aquascape consist of inert substrate. This particularly is PFS.
Thanks tho for the try :rain:
