Best place for plant selection in San Francisco?

Ideally if you can list places in the downtown area would be nice as I dont have a car, but I can use public transit so its not that important.

Where should I go to get the best quality plants here in SF?

Ocean aquarium is neat. If you can get out of the city, nothing beats Albany aquarium.

Your local planted aquarium group! visit www.sfbaaps.com Our next plant swap is planned for mid november with the silicon valley aquarium society. The info is on the website and I may be able to provide a ride from an oakland bart station.

btw, albany aquarium is longish walking distance from the elceritto bart station.
