Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It's likely a glitch as a result of our recent move to Google Cloud or our addition of HTTPS to the site. These things can often cause a few glitches when they're added, so it's likely the cause. I'll alert our technical teams so that they can take a closer look.

Same problem on safari OS X. It looks like there is a JS error with the rich text editor.
You can manually type [ b ] BOLD [ /b ].

they fixed the like notification thing
then it broke again
still nothings working

Go to Control Panel>Edit Options>Message Editor Interface

From there, try switching the settings for the "Message Editor Interface". The default settings in "Enhanced", so perhaps try Standard or Basic and see if that improves.

Still nothing. If you check the web inspector, you'll be JS errors that prohibits the editor from working correctly.
