I have six aquariums I want to use water siphons. (Hold a 15 inch tube underwater - shake to get extra bubbles out, invert them with fingers on the tips, then place the ends back under the water to create a siphon)

With these siphons I want to use a pump to pull water from tank ONE to tank SIX and the water flows through the pumpless siphons back to tank ONE.

Opinions?

That way all 6 tanks share one pump / filter / heater and free up outlet space and maintenance.

I've done this with multiple above-ground outdoor ponds. When a siphon is clogged, the water goes into the landscape, not on the floor. In the house, such a set-up would keep me awake at night.
