I have been using the complete line of ADA ferts, but I have been seeing many saying that they like the Brightwell line for freshwater much better. Just wanted to throw it out there and see if anyone has any feedback.
I agree with Hoppy. People mention how easy ADA is to dose, "just a pump of this and a pump of that", which is easy, but so are dry ferts. It's just 1/2 t of this and 1/4 t of that. Both give good results from what I've seen. It just comes down to getting to know your tank and what its needs are. Something I still have to work on .
I just had a look at them. Looks like a trace supplement with the addition of potassium.
KNO3, KH2PO4, and CSM+B is the best way to go IMHO if you go to the barrreport.com Tom has done a complete analysis of what's in the ADA ferts so you could actually make your own ADA like mixtures if you really choose to however then again why go through all that hassle when you can just dose the dry stuff with just as good results
I have been using ADA actually and I am going to be switching to Brightwell. I personally don't mind buying the liquid and most people who use ADA aquasoil seem to be find just dosing the 4, or 5 products from brightwell fresh water. It is fairly new, but people who have tested it, really like it.
Does anyone who uses it care to chime in?
