The meeting consisted of a short hike along a trail at Sleeping Giant state park. We found a lovely rocky part of the river and lots of aquatic plants which we collected and cataloged. The river was clean and deep enough to go swimming so a few members went snorkeling and I had my underwater camera with me. I saw large mouth bass a few sunfish, a crayfish a couple of snails and darters. Here are some pics of the scenery. It was a really relaxing day.
