Cloudy Tank

I just added flourite substrate to my 30 gallon. I washed it out and I figured that it would be good to put in. little did i know that it turned the entire tank cloudy. i know it'll take a day or two to settle and i have my filter running on high. I was wondering if it is dangerous to the fish to have cloudy water. i have a full tank of fish and i didnt expect it to get so cloudy. Will they be alright?
