I need to connect some locline tubes that are at the bottom of my tank. I don't have the tool and can not get them connected. Is there some kind of lubricant I can put on there to help me get them together that would be safe in the aquarium? I have a feeling what some may suggest;)

lol yup

most locline is made to lock without the use of a lubricant just dampen it with water if you must
I normally have no problem connecting these, but the case is here that the pieces I need to connect are in the bottom of my tank (plenty damp;)) The angle is weird and I can't get much of a grip on the pieces. I would explain why I don't want to take the piece out of the tank to connect, but its not really worth it.
