Such a fantastic plant- Cichlid proof, plec proof and seems to grow incredibly fast without any C02/additives. I work at an Aquatic Centre and deal with all aquarium plant orders and sales, and see so many people overlook the bulbs in favour of bright red or variagated plants. The crinum is such a strong plant and an excellent background plant, and is ideal for the unusually tall aquariums that seem popular at the moment. At the rate the crinums in my aquarium have grown since I got them, (see link below for pic) I would love to see an image of a very mature crinum plant- I imagine they can reach a truly huge size!!

That does look nice! I dont think I have seen any of these in my LFS's. Do you buy them as a bulb?
Thanks, I have another 2 bulbs in my aquarium of a similar size. Yes they are bought in as bulbs- some are already a good size when they arrive and have many leaves, other times the bulbs are much smaller and the leaves are trimmed, all depending on season I imagine.
