Had anyone tried growing this Crypt emersed? It's native just in the southern part of my country. I have one successful specimen growing under shade but should it look short and crinkly like this? Anyways it's also not placed under a humid done, just exposed to the air. From what I know it is quite difficult to grow it emersed.

It can tolerate some dryness, but not too dry. It grows slightly slower than when submerged. This was just planted last january and only 3 leaves are visible (there are 5 actually) on this sample

I had to grow it on hydroponics as it died back to unknown reasons, probably the soil cuz its too much clay.
Im growing it with some nutricote and osmocote below the pots with lava rocks as substrate. The water I use is alkaline but varies
