I had a pretty good education starting in Australia, where my father was a doctor, and ending in Britain and continuing at APC University. Now I have two small and clever daughters and am worrying about their education in NYC. Maybe we will move to somewhere in Japan or China...

Check this page. Some people get their priorities right early on! This is the Google translation from Japanese:

APC University?? This APC? LOL!

Wow, we did have a Goldfish tank (perhaps 20 gallon) in grade school, but if we would have had something like this I would have been the most attentive student in class.

I think something like what they are doing here could be very educational in many aspects.

I'm so impressed! Science was not my thing in school - probably exactly because it wasn't hands-on animal learning like your example. Maybe I wouldn't have anyway, but I think it would have been more likely if I could have seen the nitrogen cycle, played with fish, etc. etc. The print in the books meant nothing to me.
