I have a small 3 gallon hex tank in my office. It contains a few vallisneria plants, some java moss, 6 small Vietnamese white clouds, and some cherry shrimp. The shrimp disappear for long periods of time, then I see one or 2, then they disappear again. Where do they go? Do they burrow under gravel? I have a natural gravel substrate and a small sit on top power filter. Any guesses?
I've had the shrimp in there for 2 years. They initially produced many young but I haven't seen young ones for many months. How do I get them to show themselves? How do I get the to thrive again?
