I have an idea for an aquascape that I'd like to try out - a design that calls for some fairly large stones.
In order to achieve the specific look I want, sans the weight and cost, I'd like to try and make my own faux stones.
I'm fairly confident that I have found the material I'd like to use for sculpting... I am just not sure about the steps after that.
Specifically - I'd like to paint the stones.
So my questions are -
A) Are there any aquarium-safe paints?
B) Would food-safe epoxy (used as a coating over the sculpted/painted stones) be aquarium-safe?
If I'm going down the wrong path entirely, I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks for your time!
