I’ve recently installed a diy baking suda + citric acid co2 system to my 30litre tank. Everything seems just fine but there is one problem that i am getting. The co2 injected into my tank isn’t going around the tank, but only going up and evaporating into the atmosphere. Right now i have it infront of the outflow of my filter, and it does push the bubbles around the tank, but only a little bit. Any suggestions?

What kind of filter do you run. I had great results introducing the co2 into the intake on my eheim canister filter.

You can poke the CO2 hose into the inlet to a powerhead and let the pump chop it up into very tiny bubbles, as well as sending them all over the tank. I have done that many times with good results. It works even better if you take the rotor out of the pump and drill very small holes in the blades (flaps), making the pump chop the CO2 into a mist.
