DIY CO2 - some of the "stuff" went into the tank

Hey there

Had to clean my glass difuser and the pressure forces some of the sugar-water-yeast stuff back in the tank :( - not much, perhaps 10 - 20 centilitres.

I changed about 50% of the water and it allready looks better - but is there a danger for the tanks plants and fish?

Funny aspect - the tank smells a bit like beer :)

Below is a picture of a gas separator used for that exact situation.

gonna make one of them for sure - but is there any danger for the life in the tank?
You should be fine with the 50% WC.
