If your talking about the micro nutrient found in Epson Salt for example. I've read about it before but I forget what function it plays in a plants physiology. Maybe somebody else recalls.

Magnesium (Mg)
Magnesium is part of the chlorophyll in all green plants and essential for photosynthesis. It also helps activate many plant enzymes needed for growth.
Soil minerals, organic material, fertilizers, and dolomitic limestone are sources of magnesium for plants.

Gotcha....I noticed that some places where you can buy dry ferts sell Magnesium Sulfate, and not being a macronutrient, I was not sure of its function. Has anyone used it in there dosing?

Hi ngb2322,

PPS-Pro includes it as one of the Macro ingredients in it's dosing program. I have used it in my Macro solution for about 6 months now. BTW, Magnesium sulfate is Epsom Salts, about $1 a pound at your local pharmacy.
