Dry Start Fungus

The fungus is likely not growing on the living plants, just on some part of the plant that is dead. Ignore it unless it is actually killing the plant.

Not much more to say. The fungus is growing on the dead plant, using it for food and decomposing it. I wouldn't worry about the fungus doing anything harmful to the living plants. This is a part of the natural decay process that releases mineral nutrients from dead plants.
