Hi guys,

Don't know if im in the right place, but I tried contacting Diana via her webpage to no avail. Her contact page says she's a moderator here.

I am in BC, Canada and I'm looking to get a copy of her book (preferably autographed) for my girlfriends anniversary present.

It's the first thing she told me she wanted when we first started dating 2 years ago and I wanted to let her know I was listening.

Problem with buying the book online through her publisher is that they won't guarantee it would arrive here in time (Nov 15) because of their warehousing delays.

It would mean a lot to me if I could do this for her.

If anyone can put me in touch with Diana or show her this post. Or maybe even sell me an extra copy. I'd greatly appreciate it.

Obviously I will come any and all costs associated with the book and shipping to Canada.

Sorry for delay and to hear about your problem getting my book from my distributor. I have contacted them (Baker & Taylor) about this and sent you a copy of e-mail.

Shipping to Canada Priority International is $28.50. This is the cheapest and best way to ship the 2 lb book. So total cost is going to be somewhere around $53 (24.50 + 28.50). Baker & Taylor are the experts on shipping, so they should have taken care of this without a hassle.

Let me see what they say before we proceed further. They should get back to me tomorrow. In the meantime, I'll stop by Post Office tomorrow and see what's going on in the shipping world and get back to you.

They do not have autographed copies, so I will have to send the book directly from my home stash for $53.

Just got back from Post Office. Please send $53 and address details to my PayPal account at [email protected]. After I receive money, I will ship you an autographed copy with a tracking number. Baring emergencies, I plan to send book off tomorrow (Saturday). Will let you know after mailing via an e-mail and/or PayPal notification. AVERAGE mail time is 10 business days. My advice is to have a back-up plan/gift for your girlfriend. Then, if the book comes too late, you can always give it to her for Christmas. :)
